Multimedia journalist at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is seeking a visually dynamic videographer who’s as comfortable shooting breaking news as originating and producing documentary videos. The right candidate will have a photojournalist's skill and eye merged with the video prowess of a talented storyteller. The candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting in a multi-platform media organization that values the power of imagery.
A portfolio that includes breaking news, sports and feature content and exhibits creativity and originality will be highly valued as will a proven affinity for engaging with social media platforms. Dexterity with Premiere Pro is required with someone who will contribute to the direction of the visual department. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours when needed as we expand our digital platforms. Individuals with drone and 360 video stories will be worthy of a second look.
