Manage media planning team & process:
—Manage the team of 5 planners across NY, SF, and London.
—Review, create and approve IOs, addendums, and Scope of Work documentation.
—Work with ad operations and analytics to identify inventory needs and ensure efficient inventory management in key global sales markets.
—Price new products based on context of Quartz’s products, marketplace demands, sales needs.
—Work with head of client solutions to align with sales opportunities and cross-functional team operations
—Liaise with editorial lead on a weekly basis to determine impression needs and to determine campaign targeting for editorial sponsorships
—Become an expert in and the point of contact for all questions relating to targeting and our suite of ad solutions
—Train sales planners & sales team in how to talk about new data and targeting partnerships and the opportunities they unlock.
—Work with head of analytics to create cross-functional processes that enable the planning teams to proactively create effective and insight driven media plans that address advertiser KPIs.
Support SVP of Sales and Global Revenue with revenue tracking and liaise with Atlantic Media Finance:
Revenue operations is an important part of this role. In order to address this part of the job, a candidate should have experience when it comes to regular revenue tracking and reporting. Additional responsibilities include:
—Ensure that AdBook and relevant revenue reports are updated so that revenue is tracked on an ongoing basis
—Run reports in AdBook and DFP to identify sell through rates, eCPMs, and pricing trends over time
—Lead monthly billing process, including: confirming final billable amount, reconciling discrepancies between GL and AdBook, and ensuring that we’re recognizing revenue across all sources
