ONLINE MASTER OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS JOURNALISM
Students in Arizona State University’s new Master of Science in Business Journalism (MS) acquire the knowledge and tools required for reporting on the story behind every story: money. Unique to the program is instruction from two schools that are considered national leaders in their fields: the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, home to the Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism, and the W.P. Carey School of Business.
Delivered entirely online, the new 30-credit program begins in fall 2017, preparing reporters to effectively communicate with today’s audiences who, more than ever before, are deeply interested in business and economics.
The degree can be completed in as few as 18 months. No GRE is required.
Whether covering news and events, plunging into an in-depth corporate investigation or analyzing financial documents, business journalism demands a specialized skill set. The Master of Science offers valuable training unique to this robust segment of the communications landscape
